Jonathan L. Plastow, age 44 of Hartville, stepped into the presence of Jesus on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Canton to Jack and Tammy (Printz) Plastow, Jon was a graduate of Timken High School. He spent most of his career as a truck driver, working hard every day to provide for his family. Jon’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was a faithful member of the North Canton Chapel, and spent many years serving Christ in word and deed. Jon was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Amanda M. (Miller) Plastow, daughters Grace and Nora Plastow, brothers Michael, Timothy (Sarah), and Samuel (Mandi) Plastow, parents-in-law Harvey and Mary Miller, sister-in-law Rebecca Young (Jonathan) and nieces and nephews Ryker, Hadley, Nolan, Mia, and Gwen; as well as extended family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm at the North Canton Chapel (715 Whittier Ave. NW, North Canton, OH 44720) with services to follow at 3pm.
